Abu Dhabi's NCTH sees H1 hotel profits drop by 12%

The National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) in Abu Dhabi saw its profits from hotel operations fall by 12 percent in the first half of this year, due to a drop in revenues and increase in costs.

Chaired by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the company owns Intercontinental Abu Dhabi and through its Danat Hotels & Resorts division,

Qatar Airways set to launch flights to Eritrean capital city

Qatar Airways has announced a further expansion of its African operations with plans to launch scheduled flights to Eritrea’s capital city Asmara in December.

The twice-weekly flights, which will launch on December 4, will operate from Doha to Asmara and will be served by an Airbus A320 featuring 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy.
